Plain-English summary: CV T.A.G helps you understand how well your CV matches a job. By using it you agree to these terms. We're not a recruitment agency, we don't guarantee job outcomes, and you keep full ownership of anything you paste in.
1. Who We Are and Acceptance of Terms
CV T.A.G is operated by Spectrum Glo Solutions, Barnsley, South Yorkshire, UK (ICO registration CSN2702885). These Terms govern your use of the Service at cvtag.co.uk. By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. We may update these Terms; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
2. Description of the Service
CV T.A.G is an AI-powered tool that compares a CV against a job description and produces an alignment score, keyword analysis, gap identification, and related suggestions ("Outputs"). Available in two tiers:
- Free: unlimited scoring, keyword breakdown, saved history for registered users. Guest users get a score preview with no data stored.
- Premium Monthly (£9.99/month, 250 alignments/month) and Premium Annual (£79.99/year, 3,000 alignments/year) — add AI alignment suggestions, tailored CV bullets, and AI cover letter drafts.
- Premium+ Monthly (£14.99/month, unlimited alignments subject to fair use) and Premium+ Annual (£99.99/year, unlimited alignments subject to fair use) — everything in Premium plus unlimited Interview Prep Packs.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old. If using on behalf of an organisation you warrant you have authority to bind it to these Terms.
4. Accounts and Registration
You must provide accurate information and keep it current. You are responsible for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any suspected unauthorised access at mark.driver@spectrumglo.co.uk. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
5. Subscriptions and Billing
Pro subscriptions renew automatically. You may cancel anytime from account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods. Billing errors must be reported within 14 days. We will give 30 days' notice of price changes. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store your full card details.
6. Alignment Credits
Premium Monthly accounts receive 250 alignment credits per billing month. Premium Annual accounts receive 3,000 credits per year. Premium+ accounts have unlimited credits subject to fair use. Credits reset at the start of each new billing period. Unused credits do not roll over. A credit is consumed when an AI-powered alignment (Pro alignment) is successfully generated. Standard scoring does not consume credits.
7. Your Content and Data
You retain full ownership of any CV text, job descriptions, or other content you submit ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited non-exclusive royalty-free licence to process Your Content solely to provide you with the Service. We will not sell, share, or use Your Content for any purpose other than delivering Outputs and improving service reliability, as set out in our Privacy Policy. Guest content is processed in real time and not stored.
8. Acceptable Use
You must not:
- Reverse-engineer or scrape the Service by automated means.
- Use the Service to process CVs belonging to others without their consent.
- Submit unlawful or infringing content.
- Circumvent usage limits or security measures.
- Resell or sublicence any Output without our written consent.
9. AI Outputs and No Employment Guarantee
Outputs are generated by AI and provided for informational and guidance purposes only. They do not constitute professional careers advice or any guarantee of employment outcomes. Hiring decisions depend on many factors beyond CV alignment. You are solely responsible for decisions made based on Outputs. See also our Disclaimer.
10. Recruiter Use
If you use CV T.A.G to score CVs belonging to third parties (for example as a hiring manager), you are the data controller in respect of those third-party CVs and are responsible for ensuring you have a lawful basis to process them under UK GDPR before submitting them to the Service. CV T.A.G acts as your data processor in that context. A Data Processing Agreement is available on request at mark.driver@spectrumglo.co.uk.
11. Intellectual Property
All IP in the Service — design, scoring algorithms, software, branding — belongs to Spectrum Glo Solutions or its licensors. The CV T.A.G name and logo are trade marks and may not be used without prior written consent.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive damages; loss of profits, data or business opportunity; inaccuracies in AI Outputs; or decisions made by third-party employers. Nothing excludes liability for fraudulent misrepresentation or death or personal injury caused by our negligence. Our total aggregate liability in any 12-month period shall not exceed the greater of (a) total fees paid by you in that period or (b) £10.
13. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that Outputs will be accurate or complete.
14. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. Please contact us first at mark.driver@spectrumglo.co.uk before pursuing formal proceedings.
15. Termination
You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms. Sections on IP, liability, and governing law survive termination.
